Case Study – Frank Salt Real Estate

Frank Salt is one of the leading real estate agents in Malta operating twelve offices in Malta and Gozo. Focus was asked to deliver a software system that supports the full life cycle of the relationship between the prospective vendor of a property and the agency and that with prospective buyers. The system is highly geared at providing customer relationship tools as well as the automation of processes and alerts addressed to a large sales force who are mostly alien to IT but who greatly value the inputs received from the system. The system also provides back-office functions such as complex computations of commissions and bookkeeping. It also provides management with extensive reporting on the performance of individual sales persons as well as of regional branches. The system also feeds Frank Salt’s web site with the details and images of new properties as well as updates to these properties, providing a live and consistent content on the web site.

Focus quickly realised that this was a software application which could address the demands of a wider local market and we have since packaged the system as an off-the-shelf package. The system has also been installed at a number of estate agencies including Homes of Quality, Bernards Real Estate, Belair, Coldwell Bankers, Doors Real Estate and Sapphire Real Estate.
